Vacant Staging in the Fan: 2115 Floyd Ave.

The beautiful home at 2115 Floyd was not only special because it was one of my first vacant staging projects — but because it's right next door to our own home! This house, listed by Stephanie and Ron Evans at Long & Foster, has all the hallmarks of a classic Fan house: high ceilings, stained glass windows, original wood floors, built-in bookcases, and a little urban oasis of a backyard.

I was determined to make the bright blue tile kitchen cute, and I leaned into a Mediterranean theme that I carried into the rest of the house. This was a super fun project, and I'm not at all surprised that this house was under contract in a day! Photos by Rene Scott of Tour VA Homes.
